About the Idaho Prosperity Project: The Idaho Association of Commerce & Industry (IACI) is proud to be known as 'The Voice of Business in IACI is the only When lawmakers gather to decide on taxation, environmental regulation, employers' rights, funding or technological issues, IACI is there, always maintaining its role as a statewide business lobby, clearly focused on the issues. IACI members have access to an array of services: 1. Public policy advocacy throughout the year including at the Idaho Legislature and before various regulatory bodies; 2. Timely information via newsletters and bulletins such as the “IACI Legislative Report;” 3. Legislative contact information through the Idaho Prosperity Project which allows IACI members and their employees to directly influence public policy through a one-stop, web-based, interactive site that allows people to send letters directly to their elected officials on key issues; 4. Participation in strategic public policy meetings where leading Idaho policy makers from the Governor to legislators to regulators routinely meet with IACI members to discuss issues; 5. Participation in key IACI committee meetings such as Environment, Tax Policy & Fiscal Responsibility, General Business, and the new “Legislative” Committee, which will include all IACI members meeting weekly during the legislative session; 6. Participation via conference call, e-mail, and (coming soon!) an enhanced IACI website. 7. Participation in the IACI annual Public Affairs Conference where key public officials join IACI members to discuss compelling and strategic problems and solutions. MEMBERSHIP IN IACI GIVES YOU A VOICE! We are pleased to be working with the Business Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC) to provide Idaho companies, employers, and employees with the information and tools needed to help policy makers understand how their decisions can impact the health of Idaho’s economy and, therefore, the opportunities for Idaho’s citizens, families, and companies to continue to prosper in their local communities and on a global scale. |
