Delaware Minimum Wage Hike Legislation Is On The Move

Although the Delaware legislature passed a bill to raise the minimum wage to $8.75 by June 1, 2015 less than two months ago, they are now considering a bill that would raise the minimum wage to $10.10.

SB 176 would raise minimum wage in three increments, to $10.10 by June 1, 2016. It would also ensure that Delaware’s minimum wage is never lower than the federal minimum wage.

Proposed incremental increase schedule:

June 1, 2014 - $7.26

June 1, 2015 - $8.25

June 1, 2016 - $10.10

Take action today; let your legislator know that you oppose another minimum wage hike.
