Protect Our Kids: Safe Air and Water in Schools

The state of Oregon does not have laws in place that adequately protect schoolchildren from toxins such as carbon monoxide (CO), lead, and asbestos. Senate Bill 1047 aims to change that by requiring the Department of Education, in consultation with the Oregon Health Authority, to disseminate information, processes, and model plans regarding school testing for elevated levels of toxics.

Protect our kids: Tell your state senator to support SB 1047 to require CO detection in schools.

Fill out the form below to send a letter to your state senator. You will have an opportunity to personalize the message on the next page.
