Who is Manufacture Alabama?
Today, under the Manufacture Alabama banner, these diverse manufacturing companies and their vendor and supplier partners enjoy a stronger, more unified voice for a pro-manufacturing agenda. Manufacture Alabama is actively engaged in the governmental process—affecting positive outcomes for its members in Montgomery, in Washington, D.C., and in local communities.
With support and approval of its board of directors and an active membership structure of committees, councils and advisory groups, the association is actively working toward helping the competitiveness of manufacturers and their vendors and suppliers on a number of fronts. Manufacture Alabama’s staff handles day-to-day operations and legislative affairs under the direction of its president, George Clark, a former member of the Alabama House of Representatives and a long-time advocate for industry.
Manufacturers face serious challenges, but also great opportunity—the opportunity to make a positive difference for manufacturers and for Alabama.
