Recent Congressional Actions U.S. Senate On Wednesday, April 6, 2011, the Senate voted on a series of amendments that would limit or delay EPA’s authority to regulate GHG. Although no single amendment received the 60 votes required to pass, more than 60 senators voted in favor of at least one of the amendments that would limit or delay the EPA from moving forward.
U.S. House of Representatives On Thursday, April 7, 2011, the House voted on H.R.910, a bill that would block EPA’s authority to regulate GHG emissions. The bill received bi-partisan support with a vote of 255 - 172 in favor of limiting the EPA.
