About GSI Policy
Greater Spokane Incorporated, the Spokane region's Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Council, advocates at every level of government for the prosperity of business, the community and the Spokane region. We advocate for the things that you have told us most affect your lives and your businesses and we bring information back to you. The goal is to promote policies that enhance our region’s business climate through economic and workforce development initiatives; facilities and infrastructure improvements; and capital and operating budget funding for regional programs and projects.
About the Public Policy Council of Greater Spokane Incorporated
The Public Policy Council of Greater Spokane Incorporated, an 18-member group with members representing a wide range of industries and viewpoints throughout the region, is dedicated to researching and providing recommendations on issues that will impact the local business community. The council makes position recommendations on local, state and federal issues to the Greater Spokane Incorporated Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees uses the recommendations made as guidance; however it is the Board of Trustees that makes the final decision on opposing or supporting an initiative, issue or project.
Greater Spokane Incorporated and the Public Policy Council do not endorse political candidates.
Greater Spokane Incorporated also has a Small Business Council, which has representation on the Public Policy Council.
