About SU 

Established in 1899, South University is a private, academic institution that is dedicated to providing educational opportunities to a diverse student population. With seven campuses located in Savannah, GA; Montgomery, AL; Columbia, SC; Tampa, FL; Richmond and Virginia Beach, VA ; West Palm Beach, FL; and Novi, MI, the university delivers over 30 degree programs at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate levels.

SU’s faculty members bring a balance of scholarship, service and teaching experience to the classroom. Within the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Health Professions and Nursing, and the School of Pharmacy, students are provided with supportive learning environments geared toward their success. Remarkably, in 2003, South University became the only proprietary institution accredited at the doctoral level by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Today, South University offers two doctoral programs: Doctorate of Pharmacy and Doctorate of Business Administration.
