BIPAC Endorses Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) for Re-election

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

April, 16, 2010 (Washington, D.C) – The Business-Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC) announced today it is endorsing Senator Blanche Lincoln, Democrat from Arkansas, in the primary contest against Bill Halter.  Sen. Lincoln is the only incumbent BIPAC is endorsing at this point in the election cycle.

'Senator Lincoln isn't the typical officeholder, nor is she the typical Democrat.  Solutions to prosperity issues don't come from one party alone,' said Gregory S. Casey, President and CEO of BIPAC.

Seeking her third term, Casey said 'Senator Lincoln's common sense approach to solving problems is more critical than ever if we are to find bipartisan solutions to the tough economy facing Arkansans.'

'Senator Lincoln has proven a courageous Senator, willing to buck the leadership of her own party when the good of Arkansans is at stake.  Arkansas voters should tune out the distorting voices and instead look at her record ahead of the May 18th primary,' said Casey.
