Bill: HB 4015
Description: Defines the term autonomous vehicle and other terms related to the manufacture and operation of an autonomous vehicle; provides a procedure for the testing and operation of autonomous vehicles in this state.

Bill: SB 616
Description: Raises registration fees based on age of person and weight of vehicle.  Provides that a county governing body may impose a one percent sales and use tax by ordinance, subject to a referendum, within the county area for road and bridge projects.

Bill: SB 525
Description: Extends the income tax credit from corn based ethanol and soy based biodiesel to all liquid fuels derived from renewable sources.

Subject: Admissions License Tax Exemption
Bill: HB 3783
Description: Relates to the admissions license tax exemption for a motorsports entertainment complex; requires the complex to be a nascar sanctioned speedway that hosts at least one race each year featuring the preeminent nascar cup series, instead of requiring the speedway to have at least sixty thousand seats for race patrons.

Subject: Taxes and Fees
Bill: HB 3645
Description: Increases the gas tax to 21 cents a gallon.  Creates an additional hybrid/electric car fee that is calculated by by multiplying a fraction by the amount of the user fee imposed pursuant to Section 12-28-310. The numerator of the fraction is the annual average miles driven for all drivers as determined by the US DOT. The denominator of the fraction is the average miles per gallon for the vehicle being registered and licensed as determined by the EPA.

Bill: HB 3644
Description: Extends the tax credit from just ethanol and soy to all liquid fuels derived from renewable sources.  Reduces the amount of fuel eligible for the tax credit.

Bill: HB 3038
Description: Lowers the permitted level of light transmission for sunscreening devices installed on the windshield, side windows, and rear windows of a motor vehicle from 27 to 20%.
