BIPAC Action Fund

Being the nation’s first business political action committee (PAC) made the BIPAC Action Fund the trend setter in 1963. Since then, it has led in virtually every facet of business PAC development and innovation.

The Action Fund has never simply endorsed congressional incumbents who already support a pro-prosperity agenda. Access to the powerful has meant little to an organization that doesn’t lobby. Rather, the Action Fund supports pro-prosperity candidates who need the help. The Fund has also been on the leading edge of identifying and supporting pro-business candidates in tough open seat and challenger races, regardless of political party affiliation.

THE OBJECTIVE
We cannot move the prosperity agenda forward by only supporting incumbents, and we cannot achieve policy success by supporting candidates from just one political party. Assembling pro-business, winning coalitions in Congress depends on the business community’s commitment to seek out and support new voices and advocates. With the support of its contributors, the Action Fund remains critical to achieving that objective.

THE RESULTS
Unique among national business groups, BIPAC recognizes the opportunity involvement in key races at the state or local level can create. It not only builds a deeper bench of pro-business candidates, it opens dialogues with leaders of the future. Together with our state partner PACs, the Action Fund supports up-and-coming pro-business candidates through both direct contributions and independent expenditure activities.
