About the IPAA Wildcatters Fund

The IPAA Wildcatters Fund is the political action committee of the Independent Petroleum Association of America. The IPAA Wildcatters Fund enables independent oil and gas producers to play a vital role in achieving and maintaining a pro-business, pro-oil and gas Congress. 

The IPAA Wildcatters Fund is funded exclusively by voluntary contributions from IPAA members across the country.  Contributions go towards electing candidates to Congress who support the IPAA's legislative objectives. All contributions to candidates must have the approval of the IPAA Wildcatters Fund Congressional Review Committee as well as the IPAA Wildcatters Fund Regional Director.

The IPAA Wildcatters Fund does more than help elect pro-oil and gas candidates. It earns IPAA respect in Washington. An association with a strong PAC demonstrates that it has a strong grassroots network, effective leadership, and a committed membership - in short, people who can positively influence public policy.
