Voter Guide and Instruction


Voting is a fundamental responsibility and privilege.  It is important to be knowledgeable about issues that affect your livelihood and to actively participate in the legislative process. 
 Your vote does count! 


Voting is easy.  This page provides you with all the information you will need to vote.  Links to the Secretary of State and Wyoming State Legislature web pages provide excellent information and clear instructions to help you with registering to vote and learning when, where and how you can vote.

You can register on the day of the election at the designated precinct voting location near your residence.   You must present a picture I.D. and proof of your residence to complete your registration.

 

What to Do If You Move or Are Unable to Vote on Election Day

Absentee Voting

 

If you are unable to vote on the day of the election, you may vote absentee. Call or write your County  Clerkfor details for attaining an absentee ballot. Remember to return your absentee ballot immediately to assure it will be delivered to the County  Clerk's office not later than 7 p.m. on election day.
