Presidential:
Alabama is a solid red state and the state's nine electoral votes went to Donald Trump.  Alabama has voted for every Republican President since supporting Jimmy Carter in 1976.

Senate:
Senator Richard Shelby (R) was easily re-elected over challenger Ronald Crumpton (D).

House:
Alabama's U.S. House delegation will stay a majority Republican delegation as all incumbents were re-elected and the delegation maintains its six Republican to one Democrat split.

Alabama holds the elections for the Alabama House of Representatives and Alabama State Senate on off Presidential Election years and will hold elections for both chambers in 2018.
