Presidential:
Since voting for native son Bill Clinton in 1996 Arkansas has given its electoral votes to Republican presidential candidates.  2016 was no different and the states 6 electoral votes went for Donald Trump.

Senate:
Senator John Boozman (R) won re-election over several challengers.

House:
The Arkansas delegation to the U.S. House remains an all Republican group.  The delegations four incumbents faced little opposition and were all re-elected.  Only Representative French Hill drew a Democratic challenger and the other three only faced token third party challengers.

Other Notable Election Results:
Democrats never had a chance to regain either the Arkansas House of Representatives or the Arkansas State Senate. Both remain under Republican control and Arkansas continues to be one of the least competitive states for its own legislative races in the country. The biggest state ballot initiative was the legalization of medical marijuana.  Arkansas voters approved this initiative by 53.2% to 46.8%.
