Presidential:
Michigan remains too close to call, but the closing days showed Donald Trump gaining in the state.  Trump leads with just over 12,000 votes seperating him from Hillary Clinton.  Trump should be set to pick up Michigan's 16 electoral votes.

House:
Two freshmen were elected to the U.S. House from Michigan in 2016 they were Paul Mitchell (R) from the Michigan 10th and Jack Bergman (R) from the Michigan 1st.  The delegation saw no change in party makeup and Republicans still hold 9 of Michigan's 14 seats in the United States House of Representatives.

Other Notable Election Results:
Michigan Republicans were able to maintain control of the Michigan House of Representatives winning 63 of the 110 seats up for election in 2016.  Republicans were able to add one seat to their majority from the election.
