Presidential:
Since 2000, Missouri has trended Republican and in 2016 voted for Donald Trump rewarding him with 10 electoral votes.

Senate:
Senator Roy Blunt (R) survived a close election against Jason Kander (D).

House:
Missouri's delegation to the U.S. House remained the same with all incumbents being re-elected and the partisan making up being six Republicans to two Democrats.

Governor:
One of the most watched races for Governor in the country was the contest in Missouri.  Democrats lost control of the Governors office with Missouri Attorney General Chirs Koster losing the race to Eric Greitens (R).  Greitens had trailed most of the election in polling, but a strong showing up and down the ballot by Republicans helped Greitens pick up the Governorship in 2016 for the Republican Party.
