Presidential:
Hillary Clinton won New York's 29 electoral votes in this traditionally blue state.  This election did see both major party candidates call New York home which hasn't happened since 1904.

Senate:
Senator Chuck Schumer (D) was re-elected to the U.S. Senate from New York.

House:
Four freshmen members will join the New York delegation to the United States House of Representatives in the new Congress, but the party breakdown will remain the same with Republicans holding 9 of New York's seats in the U.S. House and Democrats holding 18 seats.

Other Notable Election Results:
Democrats remain in control of the New York State Assembly, but the control of the New York State Senate remains up in the air for who will control the majority.
