Hillary Clinton received Vermont's three electoral votes and the state continues being a solid blue state for the Democratic nominee in presidential election years. 

Senator Patrick Leahy (D) was re-elected for his eighth term in the Senate.   

At-large Representative Peter Welch (D) was re-elected to Congress.

Phil Scott (R) was elected as Governor.
