Wyoming has long been a solid red state and delivered its three electoral votes for Donald Trump.

House:
Liz Cheney (R) won election to her first term in the House of Representatives.  

Other Notable Election Results:
Both the Wyoming State Senate and the Wyoming House of Representatives remain in Republican control after the 2016 election.  There were no major ballot questions up for a vote in Wyoming in the 2016 election.

Republican Liz Cheney won election to the at large seat from Wyoming to the United States House of Representatives. Cheney replaces the retiring Cynthia Lummis who announced she would not seek re-election in late 2015. Cheney will hold the same seat her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, held during the 1980s.
